Hi Frisk. I normally don't write long texts like this but I really want to explain what happened during that last event, and I know if I did it in person I'd mess it up.

I wish we'd talked more before. To be honest I kind of didn't want to because the whole time travel thing would open up old wounds. I'm sorry Frisk. I never thought that you wanted to talk about it. I dunno why.

But now I understand how similar our situations are. I think we're struggling with the same things, and I hope you think so too. Because if yes, then maybe we can help each other out. Even if it's just someone to listen.

I really did try to listen during the event. I think I let you down, and I'm so so sorry. I couldn't handle everything at that moment and I needed to get away for a while or I'd go nuts. At the same time I was so worried that I'd give you bad advice, or give you the wrong ideas.

You really did help me you know. And I know you did it because you wanted to stop my hurting and because you feel like it's your responsibility. (See I did listen!) So thank you. If you've done something like that even twice or thrice in your life, then I think you've used your powers for good. And that might be enough. :)

Ask your other friends what they think okay?

Do you know what pen pals are? They're people who write to each other now and then, even if they almost never see each other in person. They can write about how they feel or what they hope for or what's been happening to them. I guess it helps. I think most importantly they listen.

I'll try to listen again if you want. I wish I had all the right answers for your (our?) problems. I have some but I don't even know if they're right. Maybe we can figure it out together?

I think I understand. You were really upset after you had to live your worst memory, and I think I would be too. Maybe that was the wrong time to try talking to you about stuff like this. I shouldn't have tried to make you listen to something like that when you were so upset.

How was the event? I mostly stayed near the bottom of the bathhouse, especially after people started talking about what was going on. I think that was the safest place? I can't say it was comfortable at all, but there are worse things.

I really hope you were okay... I looked around a bit but didn't see you. If you need to talk about anything you can write something or we can talk, okay?

And if you don't want to talk then that's okay too. :)

Good afternoon, SuperMax!

It wasn't too great. My shadow was really clingy and kind of mean, but I didn't get hurt too badly. No one I knew got hurt either, I don't think, which is always good. I met some really nice people, though. It's weird how stuff like this can help us all work together better than we usually would.

I guess that's something nice from all this.

A lot of Wonderlands recent events are about us, instead of just things happening to us. That's scary, but maybe it's a good thing, too. Or I'm being overly-optimistic.

They kept saying they were us, but parts of us we didn't want to accept. I guess some of it made sense, but you're right. I'm tired of learning things about myself LOL.

I guess I'm still learning not to make people's problems my problems too. I always want to help but I guess this makes people sad? Or it means that when I can't help I get upset and then that makes other people upset too. Also I guess I cling to people a lot. I guess that's kind of annoying.

The whole point of this pen pal thing is that we can talk about our problems. And you know I'll always listen! So there's really no need to apologize. You believe me, right? ^_^

Do you know the line "with great power comes great responsibility"? I guess the time-travel thing makes us feel like we have to help out all the time. But sometimes it's too much, and then we end up doing more harm than good. If we put our ages together we don't even come up to 30, Frisk. We're probably not wise enough to always have the right solution. Especially for Wonderland events.

So try not to be hard on yourself, okay? It's good to help other people. But it's also good to help yourself too. Even superheroes need vacations.

And I think you could totally be a superhero!

Let's make a deal. If the next event is nice, let's spend some time together during it, okay?

Remember that mutant island where we were both superheroes? Or we kind of were...I still have that suit you gave me. It feels like I’ve always worn it. I just remember feeling weird that it was me trying to help you when I’m not even really s teenager!! Wonderland gets us to do weird things.

I’m trying to get better about how I try to fix everybody’s stuff and get upset when I can’t. How about we both promise to try not to do that? It’s hard, but maybe we can do it together.

What's a Beta Max? Is that like a fish?

It's almost Christmas. The last Christmas was kind of a weird event, but maybe it'll be a nicer one this time. I think anything would be nicer than that. Maybe Wonderland will let us have Christmas, and we can celebrate it and hang out. You can show Chara that movie again. Sweeny Tod? I think they still really love it. Do you know any others like that??

You won't get in trouble!! She'd be like the coolest mom. She has a hat that says "Admiral Butts" on it and we named all her fish "Butt" and she's really great. She even lets Chara get a look at all her guns and everything! She has a lot of them

It's hard to say. Sometimes people keep saying things are fine without knowing if they are really. It's hard to know if either of us are ok some days.

I know what you mean... Sometimes it's easy to fool yourself. I do talk to Chara now and then, but not as much as before. We haven't really been running into each other. But a film showing is a good opportunity for that, right? So I'll make sure to catch up with them, sometime in the middle of all the Hollywood gore. Let me know when you want to watch the movie, sometime closer to Christmas!
