[She met their Mirror. Right. They should have - they stole it, and now she ended up with it again, and maybe Wonderland planned for all this. Maybe it's some kind of red flag. That they're making another mistake.]

[A blue stop sign, waved inches away from their face.]

[They should probably...clarify.]

[She looks down at it. There doesn't seem to be anything wrong with it. Maybe she should ask for elaboration on why it's not theirs or why their Mirror had it or... something.

But she doesn't, because it seems simple enough to her. Frisk had a shirt. Their Mirror stole the shirt. Frisk doesn't want it anymore.

[...yeah. She can keep it.]

[It's probably better like that. Blue doesn't look so bad on her, really. It complements the green. Even if it's not as - uniform as the rest of her is, a bit more on the slovenly side, a bit rumpled and well-loved.]

[It would technically look better on Lapis, because it goes with her aesthetic, but Peridot isn't really thinking of that just yet. Mainly because the concept of ownership is still so new to her and having things still delights her.]

Wow thanks. [an uncomfortable pause. something still doesn't feel right about this, but she shakes it off.] Erm. Well. I'll take good care of it, then.

[That...reminds them, though, actually. If Peridot ended up with something that belonged to someone else, perhaps that's why Frisk got the thing that they did too. They fumble at something off-screen for a moment before producing the lightsaber - thankfully turned off.]

Do you know who, um, this might belong to?

Peridot squints at the screen.] I'm not sure. Erm... What is it exactly?

I don't know. A...laser sword, I think?

[Hesitantly, they turn it on. It forms a beam blade that hums with an energy they don't have a word for, and Frisk hastily shuts it off again before Chara catches sight of it and decides that they want it.]

[slapfight]

Holy smokes. [She shakes her head, as if trying to liberate her mind from the AWE such a thing inspires.] Even gems haven't developed concentrated lasers as weapons...

[It's a weapon. That confirms it.]

[Frisk sets it down with a grimace. A shield is all they need, and all they'll ever need.]

I guess...can you ask if anyone's lost one lately?

[But it's so cool!!] ..I mean. It would be wrong to keep something that belongs to someone else, but if they really missed it, they would have said something by now, wouldn't they?

Maybe they don't want people to know they had it.

[Which is...possible, honestly. There are a lot of reasons someone might not want to broadcast their possession of a weapon to Wonderland at large.]

It should go back to who it belongs to.

[Try and find whoever it belongs to. Peridot found them easily enough...but then, she saw their Mirror wearing it as a trophy.]
